Kai's new bed and new high chair

Kai has got his new bed and new high chair two days ago. Kai hasn’t had his own bed and a high chair until two days ago.

He seems to like the two items a lot.

When he first sat in his high chair, he was slamming the plastic tray out of joy, later he looked around the high chair and was fascinated by the lovely green bear on the back, he also liked to look down to play with the harness. Now we don’t need to hold him or put him onto the floor mat when we have dinner. Kai just watches us eating, very curiously. He cues, copies us to move lips when eating, and smiles at everyone. Occasionally we piles up toys in front of him, he picks up each of them and throws them all onto the floor. When we picks them up, he smiles. A naughty boy!

We currently use his bed as a playpen, as we still need to buy mattress for Kai – the current mattress is a little bit hard for him. He can sit skillfully alone and play with his toys for a long time. Later he is not satisfied with sitting there any longer, he always tries to stand up. If we sit him facing the bars, he would hold the horizontal bar and wobbly stands up. Nobody has ever taught him that, I think it’s the urge of getting off the floor made it happen. After a few seconds of standing, he may lose balance and falls sitting, but the little determined standing-learner will try to stand up again. With such standing exercises, Kai has become a more confident support-stander. Well done, Kai.
